| LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Police are investigating an alleged fight between reality-TV star Sharon Osbourne and a Hollywood agent in a restaurant, a department spokesman said Friday. The incident occurred Thursday evening at Koi Japanese restaurant on La Cienega Boulevard, where Osbourne, rocker husband Ozzy and their son, Jack, were dining, Sgt. John Pasquariello said. The other woman allegedly involved in the fracas was Renee Tab of the talent agency ICM. "(Sharon) started with spitting on her and calling her names," said Tab's attorney, Nejila K. Brent. Osbourne spokeswoman Lisa Vega issued a statement to the media saying her client had been "viciously assaulted" and treated at a hospital for injuries. In an interview, she refused to characterize the injuries or say where Osbourne had been struck. Tab and Osbourne have been in a dispute since January over whether the agent belonged at an Osbourne party where she won the door prize, a $15,000 necklace. Vega said that dispute remains unresolved. Tab said Osbourne was waiting for her to leave and then spit on her, while Osbourne claims she was physically struck by Tab, according to police. "What we just did was take two reports listing each other as suspects and victims on each one," Pasquariello said. "The city attorney will determine at some point whether there's any criminal involvement." If charges are filed, he added, they would be "on the low end of the misdemeanor scale." |

D-Day At Ozzy's: March 19, 2003
Elizabeth Taylor and Justin Timberlake were the guests of honor at a benefit Elton John gave with Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne Wednesday night in L.A. But the names of two other well-known people were on everybody's lips: Bush and Saddam.
"We all discussed whether to move forward with this event tonight," Sharon told the crowd, which had gathered in the garden of her Beverly Hills home to support Elton's AIDS foundation and her own colon-cancer charity.
"We decided to continue because, war or no war, we are all fighting the war against AIDS and cancer," she went on. "At the same time, we should all say a big prayer for the American and British men and women who are risking their lives."
Taylor, who got a twinkly pinky ring from Elton, had to leave early because of a stomach virus - but not before saying exactly what she thought of the war.
"The thought sickens me beyond belief," she told us. "I was a refugee when I came to this country because of World War II. I listened to the radio all the time and thought, 'Why don't the Americans do something?' Now I think, 'What the [bleep] are the Americans doing by saying [to Saddam], 'Pack up your bags, mount a camel and get out of town!' What if someone said that to Bush?
"You don't think [terrorists] are going to retaliate? You don't think they're going to bomb the s--- out of us? It's going to be terrifying."
Tony Bennett, who performed, also recalled "the horror" he saw as an infantryman in WWII.
"That was a good war - it had to be done," he told us. "This isn't a good war. If the whole army isn't together, we're not going to win. I'm hurt by what's happening in this country."
Sly Stallone, there with wife Jennifer Flavin, showed none of Rambo's enthusiasm for battle.
"I've been on the fence about it," he said. "It's the first time America has gone after someone as a protective move. But I believe we have righteousness on our side."
Elton, who sported a diamond peace symbol on his lapel, said, "I'm not for the war. I love America. [But] you can't say you're against the war without being called a traitor. Now that the decision has been made, we have to hope that it will be quick."
Sharon Osbourne, feeling weak from a chemotherapy treatment, almost didn't make it down from her bedroom to mingle with the guests.
"I told her if she comes down those stairs, I'm going to chase her back up," Elton said.
She defied him, looking fantastic in a low-cut black gown.
"Sharon, I [bleeping] adore you," said Elton, forgiving her. He even confided that "My drag name is Sharon. So you get two Sharons for the price of one."

Now that's something to be thankful for. MTV's hugely anticipated second season of 'The Osbournes' will premiere just two days before Thanksgiving, on November 26 at 10:30 p.m., Sharon Osbourne confirmed to E!News Live. There has been much speculation that MTV might push back the debut episode because of Sharon Osbourne's ongoing battle with colon cancer. Earlier this month, the New York Post reported that the cable network was keeping a backup date open in January "just in case." But this week MTV execs pooh-poohed any postponement. Sharon, the family's manager and regarded as the show's driving force, seconded that sentiment, telling E!, "We're going to premiere November 26." Asked if she was looking forward to the new season, Osbourne replied: "I'm shitting myself, I am!" The Turkey Day-timed date is key to the synergistic clan's plans of moving as much Osbourne-related merchandise as possible for the holidays. November 26 just happens to be the same day Epic Records is due to release Kelly Osbourne (news)'s debut album, Shut Up. While no specific date has been announced yet, Miramax also is looking to release the complete first season of The Osbournes on VHS and DVD about the same time. Heck, even Osbournes-branded trading cards are due on store shelves the last week of November. MTV can't roll out the new season fast enough, either. The network has a lot riding on The Osbournes, having ponied up a reported $20 million to the family in hopes of repeating the unchecked success of the first season, when The Osbournes became the biggest show in MTV's history (averaging 5.3 million viewers) and won an Emmy for Outstanding Nonfiction Reality Program. MTV reps say four of season two's 20 episodes are in the can. Shooting since July, the second season of The Osbournes looks to continue the formula that made the initial run a veritable cultural phenomenon: 24-hour unfettered access to the oft-addled Ozzy, matriarch Sharon, bayonet-toting wannabe music mogul son Jack, pink-haired princess Kelly and their menagerie of un-potty-trained pets. Joining the madness this time around will be the couple's oldest daughter, Aimee, as well as Robert Marcato, one of Kelly and Aimee's friends who appeared on the show last season and has since been "adopted" by the Osbournes after his mother died of colon cancer in August. Cancer will also be a part of the new season. Although MTV says that Sharon's chemo treatment will not dominate the storylines ("It's not going to be The Osbournes: A Season of Cancer," a show insider told Reuters, "that's not what the show is, that's not what the show is going to become"), she has promised not to shy away from her illness. Meanwhile, in related news, police Down Under are investigating Kelly after the 17-year-old (she turns 18 on Sunday) was photographed drinking alcohol. Authorities plan to interview the burgeoning pop star when she returns to Sydney in December for a music festival and will determine whether to file charges at that time.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Ozzy Osbourne clan could return to MTV as early as November with the second season of their hit reality show. "The Osbournes'' chronicles the lives of the heavy metal legend, his feisty wife, Sharon, and two of their teenage children - daughter Kelly, and son Jack. MTV President Brian Graden says "all systems are go'' for the show. However, the network may still decide to postpone the show, possibly to January, MTV spokeswoman Vanessa Reyes said. The series became MTV's biggest hit ever last year, showcasing the offbeat antics of the family as Ozzy, a former drug abuser and self-proclaimed "Prince of (bleeping) Darkness,'' and his wife, who's also his longtime manager, dealt with the complexities of parenthood. Details on the upcoming shows were not released and the debut date was not specified Tuesday. The season is expected to feature Sharon Osbourne's battle against cancer as she undergoes chemotherapy sessions. She was diagnosed with colorectal cancer July 1, after her husband urged her to see a doctor for a long overdue checkup. Two days later, she had surgery; one of two lymph nodes that were removed tested positive for cancerous cells, indicating the disease had spread. Meanwhile, Kelly Osbourne has tried to launch her own musical career this summer with her cover of the Madonna single "Papa Don't Preach.'' Jack Osbourne has made cameo appearances on TV shows including "Dawson's Creek.'' The 'Osbournes' Prepare for 'Bleeping' Return
Los Angeles (Reuters) - "The Osbournes,"MYV's Emmy-winning hit "reality" show starring rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his family, could return to television as early as November, officials for the cable network said on Wednesday.
Production on the show's second season, thrown into doubt after Osbourne's wife and manager, Sharon, was diagnosed with colon cancer over the summer, began last month, and MTV expects to announce a premiere date soon, a spokeswoman said.
"November is a definite possibilty" for the show returning, she said.
The upcoming season is expected to incorporate Sharon Osbourne's real-life battle with cancer, though officials for the Viacom Inc.-owned network said her medical condition would not become the focus of the series.
It's not going to be 'The Osbournes, a season of cancer.' That's not what the show is. That's not what the show is going to become," one insider told Reuters.
The tattooed British rocker, his spouse and two of their teenage children--Kelly and Jack-- became instant pop culture stars this year thanks to MTV's "The Osbournes," which chronicled their daily lives in Beverly Hills.
The expletive-filled show became the music video network's biggest hit last season and won the Emmy award for best reality series. But the show's future became uncertain after Sharon Osbourne, 50, underwent colon cancer surgery in July, then revealed that the disease had spread and that she was starting chemotherpy treatments.

OH, BLEEPING CANADA
Just about 1.67 million Canadians welcomed the potty-mouthed Osbournes to their family this week, according to Nielsen Media Research. The show premiered to last Tuesday, September 17, on CTV after an initial run on satellite-only MTV Canada. When CTV bought the rights to the show, it decided not to "bleep" the swearing, immediately sparking debate around office water coolers over the merit of the "bleep" and the appropriateness of swearing on TV. CTV stations across the country fielded approximately 250 phone calls Wednesday, said Mike Cosentino, communications director at the network. "Predictably, the majority of the callers were concerned about language," he said.
OZZY VOTED GREATEST EVER HELLRAISER
OZZY OSBOURNE was named the greatest rock hell-raiser ever by nearly a third of those polled by Internet firm blueyonder. Osbourne took 31% of the votes, while ROLLING STONES frontman Mick Jagger managed 17%. (Mick Jagger, the guy who's going to be knighted?? -ed.) The late Sid Vicious of the SEX PISTOLS, came in third while Robbie Williams placed fourth. (Wha?? -ed.) Chad Raube of Telewest Broadband - whose high speed internet arm is blueyonder - said: "Despite what they may think, the stars of today really can't compete with our aging rock legends." For what it's worth Osbourne's 1991 album No More Tears featured the song "Hellraiser".

THE OSBOURNES WINS EMMY FOR BEST REALITY SHOW
It pretty much was a formality, in our opinion, but on Saturday Sharon and Kelly Osbourne accepted the Emmy for Best Reality Series at the Creative Arts Emmys, given out for technical achievements a week prior to the "main" Emmy broadcast awards (September 22nd). Sharon's appearance was a welcome sign as the Queen of Darkness has not made a public appearance since being diagnosed with cancer last July. Sharon, accompanied by daughter Kelly, accepted the award on behalf of her husband, saying, "Ozzy, I love you."

OSBOURNE LAWSUIT DISMISSED
The lawsuit against Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne brought by Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake has been dismissed by the federal court in Los Angeles. In a ruling issued on August 16, 2002, the court rejected the plaintiffs' claims for record royalties and additional credits on the classic Ozzy albums Blizzard of Oz and Diary of A Madman. The ruling ends the lawsuit first filed in 1998.
Ozzy and Sharon stated: "This decision recognizes what we have been saying all along: Bob and Lee's lawsuit was vicious and frivolous. It is truly sad that they felt the need to try to strip Ozzy of his credibility as a songwriter and performer. We pity them because the only real success they ever had was when they were session players for Ozzy 22 years ago. Our family feels vindicated that this nightmare has finally come to an end. We are thankful to our legal team and the United States Justice system for ruling fairly on this case."
The Osbourne's lawyer, Orin Snyder of the firm Parcher Hayes & Snyder, stated: "The court's ruling vindicates Ozzy and Sharon 100 percent. It confirms that this 4-year-old case is completely worthless."

THE OZZMAN COMETH AFTERALL
It seems that Ozzy may not be the Iron Man after all. After attending his wife Sharon's first chemotherapy treatment, he nearly passed out and had to be taken to a recovery room. Sharon now realizes that Ozzy is better off on the road so she's shipped him back out to finish OZZfest. However, Ozzy will miss two dates of OZZfest - August 3rd in Columbus, OH and August 4 in Cleveland, OH.
Ozzy will be back in the headlining slot on August 7th in Clarkston, MI and will continue through to the end of the tour.

OZZY OSBOURNE TAKES 3 WEEK BREAK FROM OZZFEST TO BE WITH SHARON DURING FIRST CHEMO TREATMENTS
OZZFEST TO CONTINUE WITH SYSTEM OF A DOWN AS MAIN STAGE HEADLINERS
Ozzy Osbourne will take a three week break from his headlining duties on Ozzfest 2002 to be by his wife Sharon's side while she undergoes her first course of chemotherapy treatments. System Of A Down moves into the headlining slot on the main stage as Ozzfest continues to tear its way across America this summer. Ozzy will jump off the tour following the July 28th date in Atlanta and will resume headlining Ozzfest 2002 in Denver on August 22nd.
"This has been one of the hardest decisions I've had to make and I'm hoping that my fans will understand," says Ozzy. "Ozzfest must continue with or without me since it's Sharon's baby. I want to thank all the bands on Ozzfest and my crew for all their love and support, especially System Of A Down."
On the dates that Ozzy is not performing, Sharon has arranged for all fans attending Ozzfest 2002 to receive a free special treat from the food concessions at each show.

THE OSBOURNES UP FOR AN EMMY
Make some room on the mantel...."The Osbournes" has received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Non-Fiction Program (Reality) by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Also up for best reality show are PBS' "American High," TLC's "Trauma: Life in the ER" and HBO's "Project Greenlight" and "Taxicab Confessions." The fifty-fourth annual Emmy Awards will be held on September 22nd, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA.

Update Regarding Sharon Osbourne:
Sharon Osbourne wishes to thank everyone for their support and kind thoughts over the past week. Mrs. Osbourne is in good spirits and doing well. She recently underwent surgery to treat the very early stages of colon cancer. Doctors expect Sharon to make a full recovery and as a result Ozzy will resume headlining Ozzfest 2002 tomorrow (7/10) in Scranton, PA.

Statement Regarding Sharon Osbourne
Sharon Osbourne has been diagnosed with a treatable form of cancer. Mrs. Osbourne will undergo surgery tomorrow, July 3rd, and is expected to make a full recovery. She has the loving support of her husband and three children who are by her side at this time.
As a result, the first two dates of Ozzfest 2002: July 6th in Bristow, VA and July 7th in Pittsburgh, PA have been postponed. More details regarding the re-scheduling of these dates will follow shortly.

ZAKK WYLDE SUFFERS FROM EXHAUSTION
OZZFEST 2002 EUROPEAN DATES CANCELLED
The remaining dates of the European leg of Ozzfest 2002 have been cancelled to allow guitarist Zakk Wylde to return home early to recuperate from mental and physical exhaustion. Ozzfest 2002 has been a particularly grueling tour for Wylde as he does double duty opening the show with his band Black Label Society and then closing the show as Ozzy's guitarist. Wylde has worked non-stop for over a year recording and touring with Ozzy and recording his own record 1919 Eternal with his band Black Label Society.

OZZY STEALS THE SHOW...AGAIN!
Yesterday at Buckingham Palace Ozzy, with secret guest Black Sabbath bandmate Tony Iommi, played "Paranoid" in front of an audience of 12,000, as part of the Queen's Golden Jubilee, not to mention millions more watching the telly. Ever-geared up for what Ozzy called "the highlight of my career" the Madman promised to behave himself, saying "I don't want to spend the rest of my life in the Tower [of London]. I mustn't drop my trousers, no bad language, or perhaps a trap door will open." Princes William and Harry reportedly got their headbang on as father Charles looked on, perplexed by their nodding approval. GREAT BRITAIN GOES MEGA FOR OZZ-MANIA
Last week over 48,000 turned out in the damp, cold grounds of Donington Race Park in the Midlands town of Derby to take in 13 hours of headbanging delight and a little hail and freezing rain here and there during Ozzfest 2002 U.K. (To which one goth-metal band's singer gleefully announced "It appears the rain cloud we rented for today's show is working.") Ozzy, who played nearly the entire set in a black stocking cap, announced backstage after the gig to no one in particular, numerous times, emphatically, and with a plethora of enjoyable explitives, that it was the coldest show he had ever played. He also issued an apology for what he called "a clusterfuck" of a gig (read it here). The next day "The Osbournes" premiered in the U.K. and placed third in the ratings, behind shows on the ubiqitous BBC; it was a media bonanza and a coup for the Osbournes that a new show would chart so high in its first episode. But so it goes for the most-hyped show in Britain in ages. Billboards cover London streets with a "surgeon general's warning: this show is highly addictive", and it is impossible to stop by the newsstand and not see a maniacal Ozzy or demure Sharon peering at you from one or twelve different publications. Here is a Los Angeles Times report on the Isle's reaction to the First Family of Rock. And finally, today Ozzy plays for Queen Elizabeth for her Golden Jubilee. Sharon will M.C. the event for VH-1. Tomorrow, Ozzy goes into intense G-Force specialty training for a Space Shuttle launch planned for September from the final Ozzfest! (Just kidding.) The madness continues.

WHERE THERE'S SMOKE THERE'S FIRE!
Call it a twist of fate or a quirk of synchronicity; we think it's fu#%in' weird, though! Right after Ozzy finished rehearsing "Paranoid" for the Queen's Golden Jubilee yesterday a fire broke out at Buckingham Palace, the official residence of Queen Elizabeth II. Details are still sketchy but, as the old adage goes, where there's smoke there's fire. (Ozz swore off the tobacco 14 months ago, though, so don't blame his butt.) Today, Ozzy is set to perform on the grounds again.

OSBOURNE FAMILY HOLDS PRESS CONFERENCE TO ANNOUNCE ALBUM
Yesterday in New York, Sharon, Kelly and Jack Osbourne held a press conference to announce the forthcoming release of The Osbourne Family Album, due in stores June 11. (Ozzy was there, too, via satellite from England where he is rehearsing for Ozzfest.) The CD features songs old and new, each selection hand-picked by members of the Osbourne family, with Kelly Osbourne making her recording debut with her high-spirited rendition of the Madonna hit, "Papa Don't Preach". A music video was recenly lensed in Los Angeles by director Marcus Siega and is in the final editing stages. In related news, Kelly will make her first-ever public appearance as an artist at the KIIS-FM, Los Angeles "Wango Tango" concert at the Rose Bowl June 15.

AUSTIN POWERS VISITS CHEZ OSBOURNE, CAMEO FILMED IN KITCHEN
Mike Myers, the world's greatest and funniest private eye in his Austin Powers role, made a visit to the Osbourne home the day before the family departed for England to ask if they would make a cameo in the latest installment of the series, this one dubbed "Austin Powers: Goldmember". OZZY TO PLAY QUEEENS JUBILEE CONCERT
Remarkable. Incredible. Unbelievable! Just days after Ozzy met the President and was the toast of Washington at the Press Correspondents Dinner the Queen of England decides she wants in on some of the insanity. It was announced yesterday that Ozzy will appear at the June 3 concert at Queen's Concert at Buckingham Palace to sing the Sabbath classic "Paranoid". Other acts performing at the event include Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, and Rod Stewart.
OZZY GETS HIS STAR
Thirty-two years in the making, it finally happened: the Emperor of Rock, the Madman of Metal got his day in Hollywood. As Hollywood mayor Johnny Grant announced April 12 "Ozzy Osbourne Day in Hollywood" short speeches from Marilyn Manson and pop star Robbie Williams preceded the Ozzman's steepin' up to the dais to accept his cherished star. In front of over 2000 screaming fans (the largest ever for a Walk of Fame ceremony, according to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce) Ozzy briefly acknowledged his family, friends, fans, but he seemed a bit nervous as he stepped down and walked around to actually view the seal. In front of Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum at the corner of Hollywood and Highland Ozzy Osbourne, founding father of Metal, saw the the star and indeed became a believer.

OZZY STANDS ON TABLES, DINES WITH DUBYA IN D.C.
The strangest story to come down the pike since, well...the bat's got nothin' on this!, occurred Saturday night at the Washington Press Correspondent's Association Dinner in Washington D.C., an annual tradition since 1920 for journalists and Beltway politicians to get out and try to relax. This year was like none other: Ozzy was in the house! Arriving with Sharon and sans dogs, the Osbournes were mobbed by media, politicians, fans, and everyone but the perplexed Secret Service who, in order to prevent an escalation of the frenzy, had to let the O's in the building before the President! Ozzy was mentioned in the first 90 seconds of President Bush's speech and yes, worlds did collide when Ozzy met Prez and, taking a hand-full of his red-tipped locks, said "You should wear your hair like mine!" Later, after Ozzy stood on his chair and waved his hands to the throngs of suddenly un-closeted journo/politico fans, Bush quipped "Maybe it was a mistake having Ozzy." OZZY INVITED TO WHITE HOUSE PRESS CORRESPONDENTS DINNER
Contrary to rumors flying far and wide Ozzy has not been invited by President George W. Bush to the White House for a what-would-be most unusual summit of the minds. The story started in England in one of that country's infamous tabloids but the real story is that Ozzy and Sharon have been invited by one of their new fans, Fox News Channel talking head Greta Van Susteren, to the White House Press Correspondents Dinner May 4. And yes, the President WILL attend the dinner, along with a host of other politicos and journalists.
OSBOURNES EVERYWHERE!
Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, 20/20, cover of USA Today, Regis and Kelly, Tonight Show with Jay Leno--the list goes on! It is the highest profile Ozzy has ever had in his illustrious 32-year career and it goes without saying this is the funniest era: dog shit, bubbles, "pimpmobiles", vacuum cleaners (AKA vac sabbath). Who isn't laughing? Apparently very few Americans between the ages 18 and 34 as "The Osbournes" episode 7 (air date: April 16) was the sixth highest rated show on all of televsion in that demographic group. Second season? We're betting on it.

Former Ozzy drummer Randy Castillo passed away peacefully yesterday after a long fight with cancer. He was the drummer of Ozzy's band from 1986 till 1997 and the driving beat behind such favorites as "Shot In the Dark", "No More Tears", and "Mama, I'm Coming Home". He also had a wonderful joie de vivre that all around him found infectious and he will be sadly missed. "I am heartbroken about the passing of one of my dearest friends. I will see you on the other side Randy. I love you. Ozzy"

MAJOR OZZFEST U.K. 2002 ANNOUNCEMENT
This year the best hard rock festival in the world OZZFEST comes to the UK and rightly the event returns to the spiritual home of rock at Donington Park on Saturday 25th May.
After the huge success of last years OZZFEST and the sold out US leg, the UK line up this year promises to be bigger, better and ear-bleedingly louder than ever before with a total of 26 bands on the bill on two main outdoor stages and one indoor arena.

OZZY COMMANDEERS TANK AT CAMP CASEY
Ozzy lived out one of his dreams Wednesday when he got behind the wheel of a tank and took it for a joyride before his USO show for the troops stationed at Camp Casey in South Korea. An avid reader of WWII books and a History Channel buff Ozzy has always been fascinated by the rolling thunder of these war machines.

Ozzy, Sabbath Nominated for Another Grammy!
Black Sabbath have been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance ("The Wizard" from Ozzfest 2001: The Second Millenium) by the National Acadamy of Recording Arts & Sciences, the organization responsible for the awards show. This marks Ozzy's third nomination, the previous two being for "I Don't Want to Change the World" from Live & Loud (1993) and Sabbath's "Iron Man" from Reunion (1999). Ozzy came out victorious on both occasions. May the Wizard walk by, casting his magic and twinkling his bell the night of the awards and make Ozzy a three-time winner!!

Tonight Show Postponed, Looking to Reschedule Before Japan
Due to scheduling conflicts Ozzy (obviously) did not perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno December 27, as previously reported. Tonight Show producers are working to find a date for Ozzy to be a guest on the show before he departs for Mount Fuji in early February.

Ozzy Performs WTC Benefit Concert And Visits Ground Zero
Although known to many as the dove eating, bat wielding rebellious fontman of Black Sabbath and notorious solo star, his fans know that offstage Ozzy Osbourne is a family man and good hearted soul who loves and appreciated his fans. Well, the Ozz-man proved his devotion to his fans in New York and showed his human side when he staged a Merry Mayhem charity concert for the World Trade Center victims at the Meadowlands in New Jersey on December 23rd and stopped by Ground Zero to pay his respects to the victims and workers who are clearer the rubble round the clock. KNAC.COM fan Rick Bonadies, a firefighter with New York City's Engine 153, has been working at Ground Zero and is a longtime Ozzy fan. He was asked by his co-workers if he could help arrange to get Ozzy to come down to Ground Zero the day before the concert to pay his respects and contacted his wife/manager Sharon, who happily arranged the visit. Ozzy and Sharon where the most down to Earth people, taking pictures and signing autographs with everyone who asked, Bonadies told KNAC.COM. Ozzy even talked to fans kids and wives on cell phones when asked. The night of the show Ozzy stopped the show and took six fireman and six police officers on stage with him and again showed the respect he hade for us. The police presented Ozzy with a cross cut out of a beam from the WTC. He looked shocked to see it and gave the cross a kiss. I just want all Ozzy fans to know that Ozzy is a rock star and a gentleman." from knac.com

"Live at Budokan": Ozzy Style
With Ozzy's forthcoming February tour of the Far East (tour dates to be announced soon) there is much talk about a "Live at Budokan"-styled live album to be recorded at one of the dates on the tour. Supposedly three unreleased studio tracks, including the left-for-dead "Black Skies" from Ozzy's defunct video game (the company went under), will also be made part of the package. A summer release is planned through Epic Records.

"DREAMER" CLIP TO BE LENSED BY ROB ZOMBIE THIS WEEK IN L.A. Creepy crawler Rob Zombie has signed on to direct the video for Ozzy's new single, "Dreamer". The song is a lilting ballad Ozzy wrote in the vein of John Lennon's "Imagine" and one that Ozzy has deemed his favorite from his DOWN TO EARTH album. The shoot, scheduled for this Tuesday and Wednesday (11/27-28), will take place at a Los Angeles soundstage and will be available for viewing on this web site before Xmas. Stay tuned!

DOWN TO EARTH has been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America last week for sales of 500,000. This is the 24th consecutive release, including his recordings with Black Sabbath, for which Ozzy has earned at least the Gold certification in the U.S.

On October 31, Ozzy Osbourne invites one and all to revel in Merry Mayhem, a holiday extravaganza -- Ozzy style!!! Rob Zombie joins Ozzy, along with MuDvAyNe on the two-month tour that is sure to give the Yuletide season a whole new meaning. In true Ozzy fashion, concert-goers will be titillated by the sights and sounds of Xmas as the concourse area of each venue is transformed into Santa's Grotto. Filled with Santa's elves and other wild surprises, Santa's Grotto is a holiday adventure not to be forgotten.
Originally titled the Black Christmas Tour, Ozzy decided to change the name of the tour to Merry Mayhem following the events of September 11. He feels that because so many lost loved ones, it will indeed be a dark holiday season for countless families and he wanted to be respectful of their feelings.
Ozzy is talking special steps to give back to the families of the firefighters and police men and women who lost their lives helping others in the World Trade Center tragedy, and will donate proceeds from the sale of special 'Ozz Bless America' merchandise sold at the 'Ozz Bless America' booth at every show.
Both Ozzy and Rob Zombie will donate all proceeds from ticket and merchandise sales from the Meadowlands show on December 23 to the families of the firefighters and police men and women. Merry Mayhem is Ozzy's first solo tour in seven years. Guitarist Zakk Wylde, bassist Robert Trujillo, and drummer Mike Bordin all played on the record and will join Ozzy on tour. Ozzy's new studio record, the Madman's long-awaited, lucky 13th studio album, Down To Earth, will be released October 16 through Epic Records. The first single, "Gets Me Through", will be premiered on the radio September 4 so keep that old transistor close by! Ozzy will be shooting a video for "Gets Me Through" this weekend (August 25) with Jonas Ackerland in Los Angeles. The concept of the video is pretty cool but we don't want to give too much away so we'll just leave you with this: there's an Ozzy on every corner!

OZZY REARS "IRON HEAD" ON NEW ROB ZOMBIE ALBUM
Earlier this month New York Ozzy recorded "Iron Head" with Rob Zombie for the monster rocker's latest (and as yet untitled) solo endeavor, due October 30. Other guests on the album include Slayer guitarist Kerry King, former Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee and two turntablists: Limp Bizkit's DJ Lethal and Mix Master Mike (Beastie Boys), according to Zombie's management.

Yes, it's happening and it's going to be, by turns, wild (Ozzy's teenage kids), funny (who's the funniest Madman of them all?), and smelly (the dog shit)! It'll go something like this: the Osbournes Malibu beach house and Beverly Hills manse will be outfitted with "hidden" cameras and microphones in every nook and cranny of the property, capturing the raw essence of chez Osbourne and giving the world a peek into the world's most infamous loon and his quite eccentric and captiving clan. The show will run for 13 episodes on MTV in the winter.
